Piano lessons

Always wanted to learn to play the piano? Then you're more than welcome to join me! I teach in my home music studio, where you can play on my Yamaha grand piano.

I teach children and adults, from absolute beginners to advanced players. My lessons are always personalized: together we'll choose a method and repertoire that suits you, so you can enjoy playing and learning.

Have you had piano lessons in the past and want to pick it up again? I'm happy to help. With regular lessons and personalized guidance, we'll work together on your development in a way that suits you.

Piano accompaniment

In 1994, I graduated from the Maastricht Conservatory as a piano teacher. For my final exam, I performed Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, among other pieces, after which I was immediately invited on a concert tour to Spain. In the years that followed, I specialized in accompanying both instrumental and vocal soloists, including Marco Bakker and many other musicians.

Accompanying is second nature to me. Thanks to my quick reading skills, flexibility, and alertness, I've been active in solo competitions my entire life. It's always special to musically support both young and experienced instrumentalists as they showcase their talents for the jury and the audience.

I'm a regular pianist at the Limburg Soloist Finals of the LBM. I also regularly accompany soloists at various competitions and exams, such as the Dutch National Championships, the Princess Christina Competition, HAFA exams at music schools, and talent and recital afternoons for wind and brass bands.

Music studio

I give a large part of the lessons at my home in my own music studio.
